[Review] Last Vegas

Movie: Last Vegas
Contributor: Tyler
Rating: 8/10
I really enjoyed this one. The movie had humor, it had a realistic plot, and in my opinion, "held water." I also liked how there was no repetitive swearing every 5 minutes. Last Vegas is a movie that cares about the comedy and not cursing to the camera, trying to get some 15-year-olds to laugh.

To explain the plot without giving anything away, the movie is about four long time friends who get together last minute for a bachelor party in Vegas before one of the guys gets hitched during his elope. It's funny how men in their seventies experience Las Vegas how our generation does. We rarely go to Sin City to gamble; instead we go to drink, stay in lavish hotel rooms and go to pool parties during the day and clubbing at night. Everything in the movie also seems probable which is why I said before, the plot really holds water and is a great movie for ages 18-75. I do have to say though, Michael Douglas should lay off the botox and tanning bed. You're in your 70's pal...

Of course, at the end they left an opening for a sequel which I won't mind seeing, but I just hope the writers don't fudge it up like they did with the Hangover trilogy. From 1-10, I give this movie an 8.
